Academic Integrity Policy

AFRIDON is committed to ethical, credible, and responsible academic, research, and career mentorship. This policy explains the standards that guide the support we provide and the boundaries we do not cross.

At AFRIDON, we believe meaningful support must strengthen the learner, applicant, researcher, or academic, not replace their responsibility. Our role is to provide guidance, review, feedback, refinement, and strategic support that help clients improve the quality, clarity, and competitiveness of their work while preserving originality, ownership, and integrity.

This Academic Integrity Policy applies to all AFRIDON services, including research mentorship, academic applications support, grant writing mentorship, fellowship and postdoctoral guidance, academic document review, and structured academic support.

What AFRIDON Provides

Guidance and Mentorship

We help clients think more clearly, structure their work more effectively, and make better academic and professional decisions.

Review and Feedback

We provide constructive feedback on clarity, structure, coherence, positioning, and overall quality across research, applications, and academic documents.

Refinement Support

We help strengthen drafts, sharpen ideas, improve organisation, and clarify presentation without taking over authorship or ownership of the work.

What AFRIDON Does Not Do

To protect academic integrity, institutional trust, and the long-term growth of our clients, AFRIDON does not provide:

  • Ghostwriting of projects, dissertations, theses, statements, or applications
  • Plagiarism support or deliberate copying of other people’s work
  • Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data or research findings
  • Impersonation of applicants, students, or researchers in any process
  • Submission of work on behalf of clients as though it were entirely AFRIDON-produced
  • Misleading academic claims, invented achievements, or dishonest profile inflation
  • Unethical authorship substitution in academic or research documents
  • Support intended to deceive institutions, funders, reviewers, or academic supervisors

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for the final ownership, accuracy, and submission of their own work. AFRIDON may support the development, refinement, or improvement of that work, but responsibility for academic honesty, factual accuracy, originality, and compliance with institutional rules remains with the client.

By using AFRIDON’s services, clients agree to use all support received in a manner consistent with the standards of their institution, organisation, funding body, or application process.

Use of Feedback and Review Support

AFRIDON’s feedback, comments, refinements, and recommendations are intended to help clients improve their own work. They are not intended to replace independent thinking, scholarly responsibility, or ethical authorship.

Where AFRIDON assists with applications, proposals, or academic documents, our role is to strengthen clarity, structure, and competitiveness, not to create false merit or misrepresent the applicant’s real profile.

Research and Funding Ethics

In research mentorship and grant writing support, AFRIDON is committed to intellectual honesty, responsible proposal development, and clear distinction between guidance and authorship. We support the strengthening of ideas, logic, structure, and communication, but we do not engage in unethical practices aimed at misleading reviewers, funders, institutions, or collaborators.

Right to Refuse Service

AFRIDON reserves the right to refuse or discontinue support where a request appears dishonest, misleading, plagiaristic, fraudulent, or inconsistent with this Academic Integrity Policy. Protecting the credibility of the platform and the long-term value of ethical mentorship is more important than accepting every request.
