Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of AFRIDON’s website, communications, and support services. By using the website or engaging AFRIDON’s services, you agree to these terms.

AFRIDON provides academic, research, application, grant writing, and career mentorship support. These terms are intended to promote clarity, fairness, and responsible engagement between AFRIDON and its users.

If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you should not use AFRIDON’s website or services.

Nature of AFRIDON’s Services

AFRIDON provides guidance, mentorship, review, refinement, and strategic support. AFRIDON does not guarantee academic admission, scholarship success, grant success, employment, research acceptance, publication acceptance, or any other specific external outcome.

Support is provided to strengthen clarity, structure, positioning, and quality. Final responsibility for decisions, submissions, accuracy, originality, and outcomes remains with the client.

Acceptable Use

  • You must use AFRIDON’s website and services lawfully and in good faith
  • You must not misuse the platform for dishonest, fraudulent, plagiaristic, or misleading purposes
  • You must not request services that violate AFRIDON’s Academic Integrity Policy
  • You must not use AFRIDON’s forms, communication channels, or website in a way that is abusive, harmful, or disruptive

Service Scope and Engagement

The scope of any support provided by AFRIDON depends on the specific request, agreed level of support, timeline, and service understanding communicated before engagement begins.

AFRIDON may provide support through consultations, written feedback, document review, strategic guidance, mentorship sessions, or structured support packages, depending on what has been agreed.

Client Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and legality of the information they provide
  • Clients remain responsible for their own submissions, final documents, applications, and decisions
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that their use of AFRIDON’s support complies with institutional, professional, and legal requirements
  • Clients should review AFRIDON’s Academic Integrity Policy before using support services

Pricing and Payment

AFRIDON uses tailored pricing based on the nature, complexity, scope, and expected level of support required. Quotes are provided according to the needs communicated by the client.

Where payment is required before support begins, this will be communicated clearly. Any agreed pricing, scope, and payment expectations should be understood before engagement proceeds.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, partial refunds, rescheduling, or cancellations, if applicable, depend on the stage of service, the nature of the work already undertaken, and the circumstances of the request.

Where support has already commenced, AFRIDON reserves the right to determine what refund, if any, is reasonable in the circumstances. Clients are encouraged to communicate clearly and promptly regarding cancellation or timing concerns.

Intellectual Responsibility and Ownership

AFRIDON’s guidance, feedback, mentoring input, and refinement support are intended to assist clients in improving their own work. Ownership and responsibility for the final submitted work remain with the client, except where AFRIDON expressly provides original proprietary materials, templates, or content for general use.

Clients must not misrepresent AFRIDON’s support in a way that disguises authorship, originality, or compliance obligations.

No Guarantee of Outcome

AFRIDON aims to provide high-quality, credible, and useful support. However, AFRIDON does not guarantee:

  • admission to any academic programme
  • award of any scholarship, grant, fellowship, or funding opportunity
  • employment, postdoctoral placement, or career appointment
  • publication, supervisor approval, or institutional acceptance
  • specific grades, results, or external decisions

External outcomes depend on multiple factors beyond AFRIDON’s control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent reasonably permitted, AFRIDON is not liable for losses arising from decisions made by institutions, funders, employers, reviewers, or third parties, nor for consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by a client.

AFRIDON’s role is supportive and advisory. Users remain responsible for how they use the support provided.

Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

AFRIDON reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service where a request appears dishonest, abusive, plagiaristic, unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with AFRIDON’s values, policies, or terms.

Website Availability and Changes

AFRIDON may update, modify, suspend, or improve parts of the website, service descriptions, or communication methods at any time. Reasonable efforts may be made to keep information current, but AFRIDON does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability at all times.
